Observing National Military Appreciation Month with Card Lock Company

soldier saluting American flag for national military appreciaton month

May is National Military Appreciation Month which serves as a reminder for U.S. citizens to come together, unified, in support of our armed forces. This month we honor both current and former members of the U.S. Armed Forces, including those who have died in assuring our freedom. The whole month is packed with activities and observances in which you can honor members of our armed forces including Armed Forces Day on May 15th and Memorial Day on May 31st.

Card Lock Company is proud to have continually supported our veteran organizations like the VFW, every day, not just during National Military Appreciation Month. In fact, our cards were originally created to help veteran organizations create a safe and stable way to operate their facilities. We’re still owned and operated by the same military family that began our company in the 1940s, and our technology has allowed our Veterans and their fraternal organizations to guarantee secured access to only those who are members of their organizations.

In recognition of their service, we at Card Lock Company want to thank American veterans for their sacrifices. Card Lock Company’s founders are World War II combat veterans, as such we firmly believe that respecting and remembering our veterans is a top priority.

You can show your support or share your story on social media using #MilitaryAppreciationMonth and tag us too. We’d love to hear your story.

At Card Lock, our commitment to honoring and supporting those who served and sacrificed for our country runs deep. Founded in the 1940s by veterans to provide security solutions for veteran-focused fraternal organizations and clubs, making a positive impact in veterans’ lives has been in Card Lock’s DNA for over 70 years. Today, many eligible veterans never apply for the benefits and compensation they are entitled to—which is why we encourage all veterans to visit Veterans Guide, a comprehensive online resource to help you obtain all of the benefits you are owed for your service.
