How Card Lock® Works
We provide key card activated electronic locking systems that provide safe, secure and affordable access to private clubs, while ensuring members pay their dues.
Here’s how it works:
- Place your order online or call our friendly staff at 1-800-847-9761.
- You will then receive your ordered key cards, a card reader, and the electronic door locking device for your door. You will also receive simple installation instructions.
- Install the new reader on the door (don’t worry, you’ll be able to describe your door in the order process so we send the proper unit designed for your door) and distribute the new key cards to all your members who have paid their dues.
- Once a year you will change out the key card reader and key cards (pick a date that is most convenient for your club). Tell us the date, and ask for our auto-reorder option and we will automatically send you the new reader and new key cards prior to that date every year. Or you can place your reorder online or call in when you are ready for the next years cards. Once you receive the new reader, pull the old one out and put the new one in (only takes a minute).

Depending on the requirements of each facility Card Lock® offers a variety of systems, technologies and price levels to fit whatever the customer’s needs are. Systems can be simple as a single door economy system that allows or denies access to the card user all the way up to the multi-level systems that have key card holder photos and can track the user throughout the entire building.
