Happy Fourth of July from Card Lock Company

sparkler in front of American flag for Fourth of July

Happy Birthday, America! We celebrate American Independence Day on the Fourth of July every year. It’s a day that represents the birth of the United States of America as an independent nation. There will be fireworks and hot dogs, parades and picnics. Flags will be flying and bands will be playing as was advised by John Adams in a famous letter to his wife Abigail. He wrote:

The second day of July 1776, will be the most memorable epoch in the history of America. I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival. It ought to be commemorated as the day of deliverance, by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forever more.

While we don’t celebrate on the 2nd, (sorry, Mr. Adams) we couldn’t agree more. Card Lock™ Company was also born in the USA and is still owned and operated by the same family that founded it all the way back in the 1940s. Customers come to us for our quality, guaranteed products but also because our systems are completely “Made in the USA.”
